British Bulldog

The British bulldog is also known for the English bulldogs. Some people get confused sometimes between English and the British bulldog, there is nothing to get confused as they both are the same. The English bulldog is very loyal to its owner. It makes a great and friendly pet. The weight of the English bulldog lies between 50 to 54 lbs. Their height at withers lies between 16 to 17 inches as they are short in length. They have got a thick neck, strong and heavy wrinkles on a short adorable face.

It becomes difficult for them to breathe in the hot climate and they start to suffocate. They can not bear extreme hot weather. The old English bulldogs are athletic, strong and big-boned dogs. These dogs are the perfect choice for guardian dogs. The old English bulldog has a lifespan of 11 to 13 years. Their height lies between 16 to 20 inches. These dogs are very alert, loyal, friendly, confident and no doubt very strong. They are family dogs and can be kept as pets.

Boxer

The boxer is also a breed of bulldogs. They have got a lifespan of about 10 to 13 years. These dogs have short hairs. Their topcoat is very smooth and tight. They are very calm, friendly, cheerful, energetic, playful and loyal.

The weight of a male boxer lies between 27 to 32 kg while female boxer weighs between 25 to 29 kg. The height of a female boxer is somewhere in the middle of 53 to 60 cm while male boxers have a height between 57 to 63 cm. In the top breeds of the world, boxer comes on number 9.
